TEENAGE
COURAGE AND

DETERMINATION

How different would our lives be if we didn't have to learn from experience? On the International Day of the Girl, we unveil three statues symbolizing the courage and determination of teenagers defying barriers due to the lack of sexual education. These sculptures tell the stories of Daniela, José, and Andrea, based on a variety of testimonies from young people in Honduras. They also provide general data about the current state of sexual education in Honduras.

We invite you to join us on our exhibition tour, where we demonstrate how the lack of sexual education has shaped the future of Honduran youth. We'll be in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, Comayagua, and Santa Lucía. We invite you to listen to their stories, to understand how comprehensive sexual education in schools is a crucial complement to home education. Together, mothers, fathers, and the educational system can empower young people with information and change their destiny.
